POP/POP3 Emails Tab

POP/POP3 Emails Tab

Users have the capability to seamlessly send emails to their customers directly from their CRM platform. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to accomplish this using the POP/POP3 protocols.
This feature is available for POP users in old email configuration. Email Tabs will no longer be available rather we have SalesInbox support for POP users in new email configuration. For more details, please refer to this community post.

Through the Emails Tab

Once you've set up your email services using the POP3 protocol in your Zoho CRM account, you'll notice the addition of an Emails tab. From this tab, you can effortlessly send emails to the contacts stored within your CRM. These sent emails will then be listed under the Emails related section of the respective record.

To send emails from the emails tab

  2. Enter the email in the To textbox.
You can also type @ followed by the record name, to send an email to that record.
  3. Compose the email and click Send.
The email will be displayed under the Emails related list section of the record.

Through third-party email providers

By adjusting a few straightforward settings, you can seamlessly send emails from your account with Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, and so on, and have them appear as sent items both in Zoho CRM as well as Zoho Mail.

To enable this feature, follow these steps to configure the Zoho Mail filter for your email service provide's POP account:
