Manage File Storage in Zoho CRM

Manage File Storage in Zoho CRM

This page presents file storage-related information for users for whom the Documents tab is powered by WorkDrive. It is now available for new signups in all DCs. It will be rolled out to existing users in the future.

For users without this update, the file storage-related documentation is available at Manage File Storage.
File storage includes the space occupied by images, record attachments, and files that are associated with a record. File storage in CRM is powered by Zoho WorkDrive.

Storage plans

Your CRM org will be connected to a WorkDrive account on a paid WorkDrive plan or an Essentials plan.

WorkDrive paid plans

If your CRM org is connected to a paid WorkDrive plan, its storage limits will be used for file storage in CRM.

To view pricing-related information for WorkDrive plans, see: Zoho WorkDrive pricing.
To compare WorkDrive plans, see: Zoho WorkDrive plan comparison.

Essentials plan

If you've created a new WorkDrive account from Zoho CRM, you will be mapped to the Essential plan by default. In this case, the storage plan will be 5 GB for the org and additional storage of 1 GB per user license. This will apply across all editions of Zoho CRM.

For more details related to the Essentials plan, please refer: Essentials plan

To access File Storage

  1. Navigate to Setup > Data Administration > Storage.
  2. Select the File Storage tab.

In WorkDrive Details, you can see the total storage available and the amount of storage being used at the moment.

Non-inclusive storage details refers to files that are not included in your WorkDrive's storage plan for now. They will be included in the near future. These include:
  1. Templates
  2. Files added to a record via the File Upload field
  3. Images added to a record via the Image Upload field
  4. Notes attachments

To upgrade/downgrade your WorkDrive plan or to buy additional storage

You'll be redirected to the Zoho WorkDrive's Store page where you can purchase the storage you need.
Note
If you've integrated other Zoho apps to WorkDrive, their storage will be combined and displayed as the total storage in WorkDrive. No app-specific restrictions apply to this storage, as it is shared among all apps.
