FAQs : Sales Forecasting

What happens to the integrations configured by a user that I have deleted?

Once a user has been deleted, all the configurations setup by him/her will stop working.

Why can't I access my forecasts as an administrator?

There could be two reasons why you can't access your Forecasts as an administrator:

Reason 1: You may have hidden your Forecasts tab. To make the Forecasts module visible again, follow these steps:
  1. Click Setup > Customization > Modules and Fields.
  2. Select Organize Modules and add the module that you want the forecast for.
  3. Select Forecasts from the Unselected Tabs list, and move it to the Selected Tabs list.
  4. Click Save.

Reason 2: You may have restricted the permission from your profile. Follow these steps to check this:

  1. Click Setup > Users and Control > Security Control > Profiles.
  2. Select the desired module and enable tab visibility for that module.
  3. Click Save.

How do I ensure each Rep can only see the Forecast they own?

In Zoho CRM, you can set up an organization-wide hierarchy using the Roles module. When it comes to data sharing, users at a higher hierarchy, such as Sales Managers will be able to access the records of someone in a lower hierarchy, like Sales Reps. If you want sales reps to view only the forecasts that they own, set the access to Private. In this case, only the sales rep and his/her manager can view the forecast.

Can I view the forecasts categorized monthly instead of Quarters like Q1,Q2?

Yes, when you click on the Quarters column (Q1, Q2), you can see the monthly split (Q1 as Jan, Feb, March etc.)

Who can create forecasts?

Users with administrator profile can create forecasts. Territory Managers can set targets for their territories and sub territories and the users in them.
