The Closed Activities related list displays all the closed activities like tasks, calls, and meetings related to a record. You can customize the Closed Activities related list to display up to five fields in addition to the mandatory fields.
2. What happens to an activity if I change my record ownership?
If you change the owner of the records (leads, contacts, accounts, cases etc.), all the open tasks/events get assigned to the new record owner.
3. Can I customize my Activities page?
Yes, you can customize the page layout for the tasks, events and calls. The following customizations are possible:
Add new fields (not available for calls)
Add or delete sections
Rename fields
Add required fields or hide the unwanted fields
Mark fields as mandatory or non mandatory
Reorder the fields
Change to one column or two column layout
When you change the ownership of a record, you will have the option to transfer some or all the open activities, like meetings and tasks, to the new record owner.
6. Can I delete activities like tasks, calls and meetings?
Yes, you can delete sales activities like tasks, calls and meetings if you have the necessary profile permission.
To enable the Delete permission
Log in to Zoho CRM with administrator privileges.
Go to Setup > Security Control > Profiles
Go to the required profile.
In the Basic section, enable the Delete permission for Tasks, Calls and Meetings.
To delete tasks:
Go to the Tasks module.
Select the tasks you want to delete.
Click the Actions button and then select Delete .
To delete calls:
Go to the Calls module.
Select the calls you want to delete.
Click the Actions button and then select Delete .
To delete meetings:
Go to the Meetings module.
Select the tasks you want to delete.
Click the Actions button and then select Delete.
No. You cannot currently assign a task or meeting to a group of users. Activities can only be assigned to individuals.
In the Meetings, Calls, and Tasks modules, you can create a default view for Today's Meetings, Today's Calls, and Today's Tasks.
You can use this view to see the calls, tasks, and meetings scheduled for the current day.
To view activities for the current day
Go to the Meetings, Calls, or Tasks module.
Click the All Activities dropdown.
Enter "Today" in the search bar, and choose the required view from the list.
9. Can I look at sales activities and events sorted by calendar days?
