Can I track the sales executive's location in the CRM mobile app?

Yes, Zoho CRM app for Android comes with a check-in feature which lets sales reps check in to the location when they meet with a client. Sales managers will be notified of the check-in right away and can keep track of their sales executives' client appointments. You can only create check-ins for the Leads, Contacts, and Accounts modules. You cannot create a check-in without it being associated with an event.

To check in to an event:

    1. Go to LeadsContacts, or Accounts module.

    2. Tap the (Check-in) icon to create a check-in.

    3. If there are already events associated with the contact, they will be displayed.
    Select an event. The check-in will be associated with the event as a note.

    4. If there are no events associated with the contact, the app will prompt you to create a new event for the check-in.
    Create a new event and associate the check-in with the event.


How do I restrict the access to the mobile version of CRM for some users?

You can restrict access using profiles. To restrict access to the mobile version of the CRM, the administrator must:
    1. Navigate to Setup > Users and Control > Security Control.
    2. Select the desired profile from the Profiles list.
    3. Select Others under Extension Permissions.
    4. Disable the CRM Mobile Apps Access option.
 Once access is revoked, the users with that profile will be logged out of any existing sessions in the CRM app.

On triggering a button in the CRM mobile app, I am suddenly prompted to share my location. Why is CRM requesting me to share my location?

If you are using the iOS or Android version of the Zoho CRM mobile app, and firing a button results in a consent popup such as the one below, then it means that your administrator has enabled location gathering via a custom button. You may select "With location info" if you are willing to share your location information. If not, you may proceed to execute the button "without location info" as well. 

What happens when you tap the button "with location info"?
  1. Your current live location will be tracked in your Zoho CRM account in the form of latitude and longitude coordinates. 
  2. Your CRM administrators will know the exact location where you triggered this button. 
  3. These details will be discreetly used as part of your organization's business processes, to compute rewards and insights as per your company's policies.

No. Page layouts are currently not available for the Zoho CRM mobile app.
