The Duplicate image detection feature aims to assist users in identifying duplicate facial images within a module. This functionality helps users determine if a particular image has duplicates.
For instance, consider a property management company using Zoho CRM. Agents meticulously maintain extensive records encompassing property listings and client interactions, which often include facial images to identify tenants associated with specific properties or leases. Sometimes, due to inaccurate data update there can be unintentional duplication.
The Duplicate Image Detection feature by Zia helps agents ensure that each tenant's facial image is unique within the system. Agents can identify and resolve any duplicate facial images and reduce the risk of identity confusion.
It is important to note that, at present, Zia does not automatically merge duplicate records or prevent users from creating new records. However, this functionality is planned for support in the future. Instead, it provides users with insights into the presence of duplicate images.
Users have the option to take action based on the detected duplicates. They can either upload a new image for the record or, if they believe Zia has made an error, they can select the 'Select the checkbox if you want Zia to improve the model' checkbox and update the record accordingly.
Note:
1. Users are presented with duplicate records based on their permission settings. For example, if a user can only access their own records within a module and not all records, they will only be shown duplicates associated with their accessible records.
For instance, if Zia identifies 10 image duplicates for a specific image in the Leads module, but the user is permitted to view only 2 records, they will solely see those 2 duplicates. If the user doesn't have permission to view any of the records, Zia will notify the user that they lack permission to view the 10 duplicate records. Regardless of the number of duplicates Zia identifies, a maximum of only 10 samples will be displayed.
2. If all the images are blurred, Zia will not detect duplicates as the rule will be disabled.
To enable duplicate image detection
- Go to Setup > Zia > Vision.
- Go to the Duplicate Image Detection tab.
- Click Add Module.
- Click Done.
Duplicate Image Detection is now enabled for the chosen module. Please note that it will take time for the model to be ready based on the number of images, and upon completion, the user will be notified via Zia notification
To access duplicate image detection in the enabled module, follow these steps
- Navigate to the module where Duplicate Image Detection is enabled.
- Select a record within the module. You will notice an 'i' icon overlaid on the record image.
- Click on the icon to initiate the duplicate image detection process.
- If no duplicates are identified, Zia will present a message indicating 'No duplicates found for this record image'.
- In case duplicates are detected, Zia will display the records containing duplicates, limited to those you have permission to view.
- If Zia's suggestion is valid, click on the Upload a new image button and Save the record. Otherwise, you can Select the checkbox if you want Zia to improve the model and click Done.
